
E. Thomas Curley
President - Energy Business
Tom Curley has served as President - Energy Business since January, 2002. He holds P&L responsibility for the worldwide Rolls-Royce Energy segment, which is headquartered northeast of Columbus, in Mount Vernon, Ohio. From 1999-2002, he served as President of Rolls-Royce Energy's Oil and Gas segment.
Curley joined Rolls-Royce in December, 1999, when he led the integration of the former Cooper rotating products business, a unit of the Cooper Energy Services division of Cooper Cameron Corporation, into Rolls-Royce. From 1997-1999, he served as Vice-President and General Manager of Cooper rotating products, with worldwide P&L responsibility.
Curley worked for Caterpillar from 1995-1997, where he held P&L responsibility for Caterpillar's hydraulic business based in Joliet, Illinois.
He began his career with General Electric in Syracuse, New York in 1979. During his 16 years with GE, he held a number of increasingly-responsible roles in the company's radar systems, corporate business development, aircraft, power generation and power delivery businesses in Bridgeport, Connecticut; Evandale, Ohio; Lynn, Massachusetts; Schenectady, New York and Rome, Georgia.
Curley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. He is a member of the Rolls-Royce Group Executive, and the board of directors of Rolls-Royce Fuel Cell Systems, and the Rolls Wood Group.
He is married with two children and resides in New Albany, Ohio.
