Dr. Michael Haidinger
Chairman - Rolls-Royce Deutschland

Michael Haidinger was appointed Chairman of Rolls-Royce Deutschland in October 2006 when he also joined the Group Executive of Rolls-Royce plc. He began his career in 1989 at DASA AG, Munich, as Head of Corporate Planning. In 1992 he was nominated Assistant to the CFO and subsequent to this function, he joined Fairchild Dornier as Division Manager for Offers and Contracts in 1995. He then was appointed Managing Director Finance and Purchasing of Airbus Military Company S.A.S., based in Toulouse, France in 1997.

In 2002 Michael Haidinger became CFO Eurocopter S.A.S. and a Member of the Board of EADS Deutschland GmbH.

Michael Haidinger has a doctor's degree in Business Economics from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, as well as an MBA from INSEAD Fontainebleau, France.
